In Criterium mode, you choose two riders and custom jerseys to battle it out in a straight elbow-to-elbow battle for the win.

A new replenishment strategy
The energy replenishment system has been completely overhauled in Tour de France 2025 Xbox Series X, bringing a fresh gameplay challenge. You only have access to one type of nutrition at the start of the race, which makes it more important to time your tactics correctly. Once you reach the feeding zone, you can choose between Energel for steady performance or Turbogel, which gives you immunity to fatigue for a few seconds and allows you to attack without losing energy. The correct use of these mechanics can decide the entire race.
