Set-top boxes equipped with a DVB-S2 tuner are capable of receiving satellite TV signals broadcast using the DVB-S2 standard, which includes many satellite TV services. The DVB-S2 tuner provides high sensitivity and reliable reception of satellite broadcasts.

Full HD, or 1080p, is the standard resolution for most TVs, computer monitors and other displays. It offers 1920×1080 pixels, which is enough to show fine detail when watching movies, TV, or playing games on screens smaller than about 40".

Auto DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control) is an advanced feature that allows the set-top box to automatically identify and optimize connected satellite antennas. This automatic setting simplifies the configuration process for users who use multiple satellite dishes and ensures optimal satellite signal reception. This makes it easy to switch between different satellite positions.

An EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is an electronic TV programme guide that displays current and future TV programmes. A set-top box with an EPG function provides users with an overview of the available TV channels, programme schedule and information about each programme. This feature makes it easy to plan viewing and find favourite programmes.

FastScan is a feature that allows you to quickly and efficiently explore the available TV channels on your set-top box or TV. This feature works by automatically searching and finding available channels and their relevant information such as channel names and programme guide. FastScan greatly simplifies the process of tuning in to your TV device, which is especially useful when you are setting up your TV for the first time or changing TV providers. This feature also ensures that your channels are automatically updated to keep you up-to-date with the latest content and broadcast information. FastScan is a useful tool for getting quick and easy access to all available TV channels.

HbbTV (Hybrid Broadcast Broadband TV) is an interactive TV standard that combines traditional TV broadcasting with Internet content. A set-top box with HbbTV functionality allows users to access additional information, videos and interactive applications directly on the TV screen. For example, you can view show information, browse internet services or even play games that are linked to the TV broadcast.

Timeshift is a great feature that allows you to pause live TV and resume it later. A set-top box with this feature stores TV content in memory or on external storage, giving you the ability to rewind or replay broadcasts in arrears. This means you don't have to lose any important moments if you need to step away from the TV for a while.

Unicable is an advanced feature in set-top boxes and satellite receivers that allows reception of multiple satellite channels from a single cable or satellite pair. This feature greatly simplifies the installation of a satellite system by allowing multiple devices to share a single cable connection, eliminating the need to lay many cables for each channel or satellite tuner. Unicable operates on a "one cable fits all" principle, meaning that all satellite receivers connected to a single Unicable system can use the same cable to receive different channels.

The WiFi function in the set-top box allows you to connect to your home wireless network (Wi-Fi). This wireless connection allows you to stream content from the Internet or from other devices on your home network without the need for a wired connection. This means you can easily access online services, stream videos and perform other internet activities on your TV screen.
