The QNAP NAS network storage is designed for storing, backing up, and centrally managing data in a business environment. This 1U rack-mounted device can accommodate up to four hard drives or SSDs. The quad-core Intel Celeron N5095 processor operates with a frequency that can be increased up to 2.9GHz. The system uses 8GB of DDR4 RAM to run applications and services. An integrated Intel AES-NI encryption module protects sensitive data without reducing transfer speeds.

Expansion options via the PCIe slot

Operating system
The default QTS operating system provides an interface for managing files and applications with Czech localisation support. If needed, users can switch the system to the QuTS hero platform from version 5.2.2. This system brings the data integrity protection of the ZFS file system and WORM technology. These features prevent unauthorised tampering with company records stored on the QNAP TS-464U-RP-8G and enhance data security.
Data protection with snapshots
Snapshot technology records the state of the system and data at a specific point in time. Snapshots protect stored files from accidental deletion and malware attacks. Automatic storage tuning and scalability
Qtier technology automatically moves frequently used data to fast SSDs and less active data to high-capacity hard drives. This process constantly optimises the efficiency of the entire disk array. You can increase the storage capacity by connecting external QNAP expansion units. This allows your company to respond smoothly to the growing volume of generated data.
