The Reolink E Series E340 IP camera provides detailed indoor monitoring thanks to its high 3840 × 2160 resolution and 2.8–8mm varifocal lens. The 1/2.7" CMOS sensor captures a clear image with a 98° horizontal and 75° vertical angle of view. The device uses classic infrared night vision with a range of up to 12m and offers advanced motion, person, and animal detection. It is powered directly from the mains, and its Cube design allows for easy placement on a flat surface, wall, or ceiling.

Detailed High-Resolution Image
The 1/2.7" CMOS sensor provides video recording at 3840 × 2160 resolution with a frame rate of 20 FPS. The varifocal lens with a focal length of 2.8–8mm is complemented by an IR Cut filter for optimal colour reproduction. The horizontal angle of view ranges from 48° to 98° and the vertical angle of view is 37° to 75°. H.264 video compression effectively reduces data requirements while maintaining sharp details and smooth recording.
Classic Infrared Night Vision
Illumination of the monitored scene in the dark is provided by ten 850nm infrared LEDs. Classic night vision provides a black and white image with a range of up to 12m, even in complete darkness. The camera automatically activates the infrared illuminator when the ambient light level drops, which prevents the loss of visual overview during the night.
Intelligent Detection
Integrated algorithms analyse the image in real time, recognising the presence of people, figures, and pets. The Auto Tracking function automatically follows the detected object as it moves across the room. When an event is detected, the system immediately sends a notification to your mobile phone and email, and recording begins four seconds before the movement itself.
Two-Way Communication and Sound Alarm
The camera body includes a built-in microphone and speaker, which provide clear two-way audio. Users can communicate with people in the room or remotely reprimand pets via the app. In the event of a breach, the device triggers a built-in sound alarm to deter intruders.
Flexible Video Recording Storage
Users have several methods for securely storing captured recordings. The memory card slot accommodates a MicroSD card of up to 256GB for local storage. The system also supports recording to a Reolink FTP server, Reolink NVR network recorders, or Reolink Cloud storage. There are three different recording modes available, including motion-activated recording, scheduled recording, and continuous 24/7 mode.
Connectivity and App
Wireless connectivity is provided by dual-band WiFi operating in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, complemented by an RJ-45 LAN Ethernet port. Management and live streaming are handled via the Reolink app on a mobile phone or the Reolink Client program on a computer. The system supports iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac operating systems. The device is compatible with the Google Assistant for easy integration into a smart home.
