Create professional-looking video with crisp images, great sound and perfect background blur in moments
The Sony ZV-1 is a compact vlogging camera designed for content creators who demand superior image and audio quality in a practical body. It features a 1.0" CMOS sensor, BIONZ X™ processor, 4K HDR video with 1.7x oversampling, built-in ND filter and professional features like S-Log2/3 for colour gradation. Thanks to the rotating touchscreen, three-way microphone with wind protection, image stabilization, Bokeh and Product Showcase modes, Real-time eye tracking and compatibility with Bluetooth grips makes it ideal for selfies, reviews and vlogs in any conditions. The Imaging Edge™ mobile app makes it easy to share, edit and stabilize your shots right from your phone.

The Sony ZV-1 features a combined SteadyShot™ optical and electronic stabilization system that significantly reduces shake and allows you to take smooth, stable shots even when walking. The system will be especially appreciated by content creators who shoot handheld. With the ability to attach to a shooting grip, you can fully concentrate on creating and composing without having to constantly monitor image stability.

The flip-up LCD touchscreen makes it easy to compose selfies and vlogs without accessories like a microphone getting in the way. Touch control simplifies access to functions such as focus, shutter and exposure - all directly from the screen and while shooting.

The Sony ZV-1 features a 1.0" 20.1 megapixel Exmor RS CMOS sensor and a ZEISS® 24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 lens. Combined with the powerful BIONZ X™ processor, it delivers sharp, detailed photos even in low-light conditions, including an impressive blurred background (bokeh effect).

The camera offers creative styles and image effects for a variety of video and photo looks - from stylish monochrome to thumbnail effects. You can give your shots a distinctive look without the need for post-production. The ZV-1 automatically detects the subject's face and eyes, focusing on them precisely and keeping them sharp even when moving. Frames appear on the screen to visually confirm that the subject is in focus.

The built-in three-way front-facing microphone captures your voice clearly and with minimal distracting ambient noise. A wind protector is also included for outdoor shooting. The camera has a bright recording light and a contoured grip for a comfortable hold when taking selfies. It's compatible with Sony's Bluetooth® wireless grips, allowing remote control of recording and zooming without cables.

An advanced colour processing system ensures realistic and pleasing skin tones, which is especially appreciated by vloggers and influencers. In addition, the Soft Skin Effect gently retouches the look without overdoing the filter. Hybrid focusing using 315 points with phase detection allows extremely fast focus transitions between subjects - ideal for selfies or product shots.

With the dedicated "Bokeh" button (C1), you can switch between sharp background and bokeh effect with one click, without complicated aperture or exposure adjustments. Product Showcase mode, activated by the C2 button, prioritises focusing on subjects before the lens before the face - ideal for product reviews without the need for manual refocusing.

The camera's transitional AE algorithm quickly adjusts exposure even in rapidly changing lighting conditions while keeping the face properly lit. The camera is equipped with a universal MI socket for connecting accessories such as microphones, lights or audio adapters. It also offers a clean HDMI output, making it easy for professional use.

The ZV-1 can handle ultra-slow-motion footage up to 960 fps and features time-lapse recording (1-60 s interval, up to 9999 frames), ideal for spectacular video production. The Imaging Edge Mobile app enables wireless connectivity and file transfer to your mobile phone even without an active camera. Video footage can be further edited with Movie Edit to improve stabilization and composition.

The touch controls are quick and easy to use - from selecting the focus point to activating functions, making it much faster to work even when vlogging. With full pixel subtraction without merging and 1.7x oversampling, ZV-1 achieves sharp and detailed 4K images. It is suitable for both beginners and professionals. It supports S-Log2/3 recording, pure HDMI output, zebra metering, Gamma Assist, proxy recording and timecode - tools essential for professional workflows.

The integrated ND filter allows for longer shutter speeds and larger aperture numbers even in strong light -ideal for capturing motion and achieving a professional video look. You can create full-resolution still images from videos right in the camera - no need to export to a PC. Suitable for YouTube or social networking thumbnails.

With the free Imaging Edge™ mobile app for iOS and Android, you can transfer, edit and upload images taken with the Sony ZV-1 directly to social networks from anywhere. Movie Edit add-on offers tools to improve stabilization of severely shaky footage, video cropping or compositing for different aspect ratios common on social platforms. In addition, automatic tagging of vertically oriented videos makes it easy to prepare content optimized for viewing on mobile devices.

Sony Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1946. Its headquarters is located in Tokyo. Its beginnings were humble. The first product sold under the Sony brand was a transistor radio. It was those radios that played a pivotal role in the company's expansion in the 1960s and the world quickly began to associate Sony products with a reliably stellar price-performance ratio.
In the 1970s, Sony was severely affected by the global economic crisis. Many analysts considered the company effectively defunct and could see no future for it. However, they underestimated the famous Japanese perseverance and courage. The crisis was not a disaster for Sony; on the contrary, it served as a launching pad to even greater heights. The company recovered and soon changed the media landscape with the development of the CD and later the DVD. In the early 1990s, Sony achieved another major success with the introduction of the PlayStation gaming console. It is the gaming consoles that best represent the intersection of the three key areas in which the company operates today – electronics, video games, and the entertainment industry.
