Flexible power and efficient management
The switch is equipped with eight PoE+ ports that comply with 802.3af/at standards. The total power budget of 120W, with up to 30W per port, is designed to power network devices. The PoE Auto Recovery feature automatically detects and reboots connected PoE devices if they become unresponsive. Full integration into the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform enables centralised management of the entire network from a single interface. You can manage access points, switches, and gateways, either locally or remotely via the cloud.
Features for network optimisation
The TP-Link SG2016P includes L2 and L3 features for optimising network performance and security. Support for up to 4096 VLANs enables logical network segmentation, while QoS (Quality of Service) prioritises data traffic for applications like voice or video. Link Aggregation (LACP) increases throughput by combining multiple ports. Security is enhanced by 802.1X authentication and an Access Control List (ACL). Static routing is available for routing internal traffic.
