APC Smart-UPS SRT 3000VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card
The worst thing that can happen to you when you work on a computer is a power outage just before you saved that important document. Your work has gone into the ether, and you have to start again from nothing. Such tragic scenarios can be forestalled by the APC Smart-UPS SRT 3000VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card backup power supply. This is just another name for a large battery that powers all devices that need electricity. The APC Smart-UPS SRT 3000VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card UPS features the Online with double conversion design approach. Off-line is classified as the simplest form. The line interactive UPS enhances the simpler off-line version of power protection. The most complex system is the double conversion online UPS, where the input voltage is fed to a rectifier, with output being supplied by an inverter.
APC Smart-UPS SRT 3000VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card Backup Power Supply Key Features
- Backup power design: Online with double conversion
- Actual performance: 2700 W
- At maximum load, the UPC will run for 4 min
- 8 sockets (C13), as used for monitors, printers, or amplifiers
A key attribute is how long the UPS will function when the electricity is off. This is governed by the energy consumption – for example, at half-load (50%), the backup time lasts much longer. The load of the backup source governs the operating time, which at maximum load is 4 min and at a load of 50%, it's 11,8 min. It is therefore necessary to determine the power consumption of the connected appliances and ideally to have some extra power left. The APC Smart-UPS SRT 3000VA RM 230V rack-mount, network card measures the apparent power as 3000, but realistically, the actual usage matches the value of 2700 W.
