Step into the darkness
City of Scars: When the Police Become the Prey
When a popular Kilmarnock police officer is beaten to death in his own home, it initially looks like a robbery gone wrong. But when his colleague is killed in the line of duty, it becomes clear that something much more sinister is afoot: someone is deliberately murdering police officers.
With her life made difficult by an insufferable new colleague and a true-crime-obsessed teenager, DI Heather Filson must track down the brutal killer before the tension between the police and the public ends in disaster. Riots and street brawls have already broken out in Glasgow, and it's not just about catching the killer—it's about preventing violence from taking over Scotland's largest city.
