
TP-Link Tapo P410M is a smart outdoor Wi-Fi socket designed for automation and remote control of outdoor electrical devices. With Matter certification, it enables connectivity with various smart home platforms and supports control via mobile apps and voice assistants. The IP54-rated design is intended for use in the garden, patio or backyard, where the socket supplies, for example, lighting, irrigation, fountains or outdoor appliances. The socket supports power consumption monitoring and current direction detection, which also allows use with balcony photovoltaic systems.


To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's app. For more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add a device to the application, please refer to the product manual.

The Tapo P410M uses the Matter standard, which allows integration into a variety of smart home systems without having to use just one platform. The socket can be controlled via Tapo, Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Samsung SmartThings. You can configure via Bluetooth or by scanning the Matter QR code directly in a supported app. This makes it easy to integrate the socket into an existing smart home. Voice control supports commands via Siri, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The socket supports power consumption monitoring and current direction detection, which extends the possibilities of use also for monitoring energy from balcony solar systems. The overload protection function automatically switches off the connected device when the set power is exceeded. The Anti-Overcharging technology interrupts power when the connected device has finished charging. The design uses Zero-Crossing Detection technology to reduce wear on the relay contacts and extend the life of the device. An overview of consumption and socket settings is available directly in the mobile app.

The Tapo P410M is IP54 splash-proof and designed for outdoor operation in temperatures from -20 °C to 50 °C. The body of the socket is made of self-extinguishing material V-0 according to UL94. The compact design allows direct connection to the mains without the need for an additional control unit. You can set timetables, automatic scenarios or presence simulation mode. The socket is designed for a maximum load of 3680 W at a current of 16 A.
