The SmallRig 5359 RM 40C mini LED Video Light is designed to illuminate scenes for video shoots, photography, and streaming. This rectangular, continuous panel light offers 40W of power in a compact body, making it easy to carry on location. The integrated LED source provides a luminous flux of 4670lx at a distance of 0.5m with a colour temperature of 5600K. It is powered by a built-in 4800mAh Li-ion battery, complemented by a modern USB-C PD interface.

Flexible temperature adjustment
The light source operates with an adjustable colour temperature ranging from 2500K to 10000K with a deviation of ±200K. Users can adjust the hue to match ambient lighting conditions, from warm tones to cool daylight. High colour reproduction accuracy is demonstrated by the CRI 96 and TLCI 99 ratings, which prevent unwanted colour shifts. Accurate colour rendering is particularly helpful for faithfully capturing skin tones in portraits.
Wide RGBWW colour spectrum
The full-colour RGBWW mode provides access to over 36000 colour shades for a variety of creative colour effects. Colour and exposure are adjusted manually using the integrated controls directly on the body of the device. This system helps create colour accents in the background or add tones to scenes without needing physical filters. This gives users a wide palette of colours for quick shot adjustments.
Power and battery life
The integrated 4800mAh Li-ion battery powers the device for 55 minutes at 100% brightness. At a minimum brightness of 1%, the battery can last for up to 14 hours. Fast charging via the USB-C connector with Power Delivery support shortens the time needed to restore the battery to full capacity. The light also works while connected to a power source, which is convenient for long shooting days.
Construction and mounting options
The body is made of polycarbonate and features a strong magnet on the back, which makes it easy to mount on metal structures and any steel surfaces. For installation on tripods, arms, or directly into a camera's hot shoe, the design has an integrated standard 1/4"-20 thread. Its pocket-sized design simplifies handling for handheld shooting.
Lighting effects
The internal memory contains 14 built-in lighting effects to simulate various environments, such as flashes, a thunderstorm, or a flickering candle. The current settings, selected colour mode, and remaining battery capacity are shown on the built-in side HD LCD display directly on the device's body. The onboard controls make it easy to change all parameters quickly without interrupting your work.
